Meet the wedding party...
The Bridesmaids...
Well what can I say about my bridesmaids, but that they are the best
friends that a girl could ever ask for and I am privileged to have
them in my life. I have decided to fore go having a chief bridesmaid
as I couldn't decide who to have as they are both equally important
to me so I have given them both the important role of Bridesmaids.
I love you both....
Bridesmaid Shell Bell (Michelle)
Michelle and I have known each other for over 5 years now and we lived
together for 4 of those years. We met in the ANZ Bank in Brisbane
and things just progressed from there. We are complete opposites and
we complement each
other well. I'm the naughty of the pair and she's the nice. For those
of you who have the privilege of knowing Shells, are under the impression
of nice and innocent Michelle, but me, I have seen the drinking, dancing
and singing
The Gambler, Michelle and she is the most inspirational, selfless
person I know. I am honoured that she will be a part of my special
day.
"The best kind
of friend is the kind you can sit on the porch and swing with, never
say a word, and then walk away feeling it was the best conversation
you've ever had".
Bridesmaid Moanie
Moanie (Simone)
Simone and I have also known each other for four years. I met her
through an acquaintance from squash in Brisbane and we just hit it
off. We both have a passion for travel and we have done 2 round world
trips together taking in
Europe, Egypt, Turkey and Africa. You have not seen two people so
different in their travel preparation and travelling plans get along
so well. I am the "gotta unpack everything to find something" and
Simone is "dip into the left side of
the bag to get the shirt she knew was there' kind of traveller. We
have our "last' trip planned for May this year to South America which
will be like a farewell to the 'girls' holidays. We are planning on
telling the same jokes when we are 80 and will never get tired of
them that come about in our travels. I look forward to sharing my
day with you Moanie.
"A true friend
knows the song in my heart and sings it to me when my memory fails"
The Groomsmen...
Damien
'Heathy'
Damien and Andrew met in high school. Heathy was the coolest
guy at school, thanks to his ultra cool SLR5000 Torana. It is
good to see that he is still keeping up his appearance as he
cruises Tocumwal in his Trans Am. Now ladies don't get too excited
as he is already a taken man. Thanks Heathy for travelling all
the way from Tocumwal to be here today. |

Grant 'Chivo'
I also met Grant at high school and have hung out ever since
then. He is a good bloke but don't let him near anything with
wheels. I still have the scar from a certain push bike accident.
Just don't ask him anything about cars since he has had his
driver's licence. Not a very good track record. Also a BIG
thank-you to you, for driving the miles to be here today.
It means a lot to both Bernie and I.

The Master of
Ceremonies...
I would like to introduce Shane. He will tackle the job of MC for
the evening. He is a personal friend of both Drew and myself and
has plenty of experience, as he has MC'ed for at least 5 weddings
that I know of. And besides that he could sell ice to the eskimo's
AND talk the legs off a chair...
Thanks Shane for taking on this monumental role.
